It was an extremely enjoyable evening, the offer was a multi-course menu, each course a pleasure! As an aperitif, I would recommend the in-house Riesling sparkling wine. Hopefully the Corona restrictions will be over soon!

On Sunday evenings, thanks to "Corona Lockdown light", we picked up our food. Lamb's lettuce with goat cheese, carrot soup with ginger and prawns, chestnut gnocci with cranberries, nuts and Brussels sprouts and an onion roast, perfectly medium, with cheese spaetzle ... that was really delicious! Thank you, we look forward to the next time!

The Weingasthof Simon from the Eder family is authentic from the moment you greet them until they say goodbye! High-quality food processed with love and devotion, very appealingly presented and always a treat for the palate! Stefan Eder and his kitchen team have a clear culinary signature, which for my taste is more calligraphy! The wines served with the meal are also of a very good standard and reflect the surrounding soils of the vineyards perfectly. Courteous and dedicated staff round off the visit perfectly! Always worth a trip! ✌🏻

We had lunch here with a smaller group in the beautifully located beer garden. The ambience and dishes certainly have potential, especially when the weather is good a wonderful oasis of peace in the countryside, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Waitress clearly in a bad mood, despite the moderate rush sometimes no service in sight for a long time, drinks were forgotten, bill did not fit. There is simply a lack of friendliness here, rolling your eyes at a question from a guest is an absolute no-go in our opinion, as a guest you feel absolutely unwelcome and more of a disturbing factor.

Very good restaurant with a constantly changing menu. Nice staff, very good kitchen. The desserts are also highly recommended. Unfortunately sometimes with a longer waiting time.

Delicious food, a nice selection of classics and specialties on the menu, plus nice service! The Eder family and team are my recommendation for going out in Alzenau.

Good food, very friendly service. A disinfectant dispenser is hung up at the entrance as well as in other places. The tables are spaced apart, you feel very safe. The menu has nice dishes that are not available everywhere. Only the prices are not cheap but in the middle. We spent a very nice evening outside and ate and drank very tasty. We will be back.

You sit very nicely outside. The waitresses are very nice throughout. The food and wine are excellent. A star deduction because of the too high wine prices. 5.50 EUR and more for a glass is too much despite the very good quality

The pizza was crispy with dough and the onions with toppings were accented with flavor and it was very delicious. Fish freshly refreshed lemon. The grilled duck is seasoned with alcohol. There was a sweet potatoes gnocchi in the menu, but I could not find it. It would have been better if the beer had cooled.

Fast service, nice and friendly staff, rustic atmosphere a couple of miles outside of Frankfurt, and thought through dishes.
